My fathers name was Robert Angelo Koutsoukis,he was born 1921 in Fremantle,West Australia, his fathers name was Angelo Konstantine Koutsoukos who was born 1886 in Castellorizo Greece, he was married to Violet Lucy Wallace,His father was Constantine Koutsoukis born 1854 who married Chrissafina Toulouza and his parents were Jacobus Koutsoukos who married Xania Stasae. This family was from Castellorizo,Greece.Does anyone have any more information on this family or does any one else connect to my family tree. cheers Coralie

I would like to suggest to anyone following up their own family, using official records such as the Australian Archives, State, Cemetery Records etc., to be mindful of spelling variations/changes. My husband's ancestry records show around 20 versions of the surnames not to mention the Christian ones. Families on this site can be connected when this is understood.
Examples of this: Kotsoglo -Kotsoglou. Coutsuros - Nicholls
I would like to know how one can achieve this on this site.

My Grandmother was a Papanastasiou her name was Katherine or Ekaterinie. She migrated to Alexeandria Egypt & married an Alex Margaronis/Margaritis.

WOW!! This site is fabulous - I now have another excuse to stay on the laptop for a bit longer!

I am proud to be a 'full import' having been born on Casterorizo in 1956 and migrated to Sydney in 1960 with my mother and older sister - my father arrived in Sydney just after I was born.

I was touched with the "Empire Patrol Disaster" article as I lost three [3] family members during that ordeal.

I will link again to the Geni website and try to fill some gaps. I urge all Cassis to spread the word around and lets have this site 'fully' populated so we can all track our place in the hisory of this OUR HOMELAND.

To all my fellow Cassis - worldwide, somehow, I know we are all connected as one big 'soyi'.

She was born in Tully, Qld, with siblings Ann, Esta,Stathis & Vlas.
